About Us
I have now been exhibiting Samoyeds for 30 years and am now exhibiting and breeding under my own kennel prefix "Snowispa".
I have had great success in the show ring over the years and am proud of the achievements my young dogs have accomplished in a short time under my "Snowispa" prefix with three of my dogs achieving their Australian title.
Our dogs are down from the Kalaska, Mezen and Kalina Kennels which have many years of breeding experience behind them.
My knowledge of Samoyeds primarily comes from growing up with this breed. I have also worked for 15 years with Mrs. Y. Sydenham-Clarke at Kalina Kennels. My duties included handling and care for the dogs as well as helping with many litters along the way. I have also learned a great deal about Samoyeds from my mother who has a lot of knowledge about dogs in general.
I am licensed to judge the Utility group (Group 6) and enjoyed my first trip to New Zealand for the Auckland Provincial Samoyed National Show in 2006. I also have regular judging appointments in Australia.
My daughter Alison also is involved with our dogs. She regularly helps me at shows both handling and preparing my dogs. She also helps at home with the dogs when she's not studying for the VCE.
